Jo Medbury joins the Sydney Adventist Schools company at the new Associate Executive Director of Education.
Mrs. Medbury was employed as a manager for AMP Superannuation and Insurance for 5 years before leaving to study for her Bachelor of Education and also have her two children. She completed her degree in 2009 and is currently working towards a Masters in Educational Leadership through Avondale University College.
Jo has worked at Mountain View Adventist College from 2009 – 2014. Whilst there she was inspired by the staff and students and made the decision to become a baptised member of the Adventist church. She has been the Deputy Principal at Sydney Adventist School Auburn for the past 5 years.
“I am very excited about the opportunity to work as part of the Greater Sydney Conference Educational team alongside David Hobson, as we work to continue to strengthen the schools in Sydney and South NSW. I look forward to getting to visit each of the schools and getting to know the staff and offer support as needed.”
