    For peace of mind and to stay across local emergency warnings:

    • Download the Hazards Near Me App
    • Follow updates from the NSW SES and Bureau of Meteorology
      Set your watch zone to the location you live and work so you only get notified of relevant risks.
    • ABC is the official national emergency broadcaster
      Local – ABC is a webpage where you can find your local emergency broadcast online.
    • Download ABC Listen App
      We advise you preset your car radio to access emergency warnings in the event of power outage.

    Stay connected by checking in with vulnerable members of your faith community to ensure they are safe and informed.

    ADRA will respond if there are needs we can meet that arises from this weather event. To register your interest in helping if needs arise, please fill in this short form.

    Offer of short training:

    An easy way to support the community and each other is with Psychological First Aid (PFA).
    PFA is a best practice approach to supporting communities after disasters. This is coupled well with other activities to help you feel more confident in speaking with people who have been impacted.
