Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program (DARP) Training

For a community group to run a Nedley DARP of 15 individuals, you will need at least two (2) qualified trained personnels:

• 1 Associate Director
• at least 1 Facilitator

Note, each Associate Director will need at least 1 Facilitator to run a group program.

The training to become an Associate Director and a Facilitator is the same. The difference between the 2 status are that an Associate Director coordinates the program and owns the Nedley DARP videos (USB key and/or web access) for the program.

Purchasing the Nedley DARP videos is compulsory for Associate Directors as the videos provide the contents of the sessions. The participant workbook complements the content in the videos.

During the program the Associate Director and Facilitator plays the videos for the group and pause for discussion and sharing.

Every group running a Nedley DARP group will require at the very minimum a certified Associate Director and one (1) certified Facilitator for every 15 people (2 are better).

• Associate Director – $420 | Full access to presentations (access to online portal and USB), Nedley DARP Workbook, Nedley DARP journal, Depression the Way Out text book and training. Cost: $420. Additional resources will also be required and can be purchased through Amazon or GSC – Telling Yourself the Truth by William Backus and SOS Help for Emotions by Lynn Clark
• Associate Director – $335 | Who already owns the Depression the Way Out textbook: full access to presentations (access to online portal and USB), Nedley DARP Workbook, Nedley DARP journal, training (without Depression the Way Out text book). This excludes Telling Yourself the Truth and SOIS Help for Emotions which is part of the recommended pack to deliver the program.
• Facilitator – $230 | No access to online portal and presentations, but cost includes Nedley DARP Workbook, Nedley DARP journal, Depression the Way Out text book and training.  Additional resources: Telling Yourself the Truth and SOS Help for Emotions is also required.
• USB Key and training only – $220 | You currently have the other resources, that is the new Nedley DARP Workbook (released in 2025).
• USB Key only: $180 (because you have already been trained last year as a Facilitator with the new resources)

If you didn’t attend the training in 2024 or 2025 with the updated 2023 Nedley DARP material, you need to redo the training again as there are additional instructions with the new updated material. Trained participants are provided two (2) years to run a course, and this is to keep the license active.

There are more ways to keep up with the recertification which will be discussed at the training session.

Yes, they can upgrade to Associate Director role by purchasing the USB key and obtain access to the web portal. If you have not done any program since 2024, you will need to redo the training again by paying for the USB key and training session.
