A prayer-based ministry event by the Public Affairs and Religious Liberty department of the South Pacific Division.
Prayer is the engine room of the church and as such, we need to come together as a church and lay our plans and concerns before our mighty God. We are reminded of the promise in scripture that states: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Phil 4:13.
Now more than ever, we need to come and pray together, seeking the power and presence of God in our lives and in the church.
Here is what Ellen G. White has to say about prayer:
“Why should the sons and daughters of God be reluctant to pray, when prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven’s storehouse, where are treasured the boundless resources of Omnipotence.”
Join us for our SPD wide online prayer gathering, where leaders from across the division will share prayer points for us to pray about together. It is vital for all of our Unions to be led by God as we navigate the future.
The evening will mainly be prayer sessions with breakout groups meeting for 12-15 minutes. In between these breakout groups, various presenters from across the Pacific will introduce the prayer points.
