    How to get an official adventist.org.au email address for your church + troubleshooting information.

    Overview

    The process for have an adventist.org.au email address set up for your church is quite simple.

    1. Create an email subjected “Church Email Request”
    2. Let us know which church you would like the email address created for
    3. CC your church pastor & [email protected]

    Once your Pastor responds with approval, we will work on getting the address set up.

    It is important that you CC the communications department. Doing so helps us keep our records updated which helps us better communicate with you.

    We need to change or update our church email address. How do we do that?

    Please contact Service Desk at [email protected]. The Conference cannot assist with this.

    Why should my church have an adventist.org.au email address?

    Four reasons:

    1. Professionalism
    2. Credibility
    3. Safety – Multiple monitors prevents questionable activity. Safe churches are thriving ones.
    4. Accessibility – people move and teams rotate. An account set up by Adventist media means the password will always be retrievable.

    Imagine contacting someone at Microsoft using a Hotmail address for work correspondences. It would come off a bit suspicious, wouldn’t it? So it can be for churches under a Conference using non-organisation-specific addresses.

    Is there a cost associated with the email address?

    Yes, however it is relatively small. It will cost around $7 (excl GST) per month for the address.

    Can our church have multiple email address for the various church positions we have?

    Unfortunately, no. We can only provide the one catch all email address, which we recommend the church team using. A monitored church address is a safe one.

    Who pays for the fees associated with the email addresses created for local churches?

    Currently, the Greater Sydney Conference pays for fees associated with the email address. Should your church wish for the Conference to provide a Zoom account, a church adventist.org.au email address will required.

    Can we upgrade our church provided email from E1 to E3?

    Yes. This upgrade does come with an an additional charge that the local church will have to resume. As of April 2022, the charge is $6.95 per month. Please note that this current rate is subject to change.

    What is difference between E1 and E3?
    The main difference between Microsoft E1 and Microsoft E3 is that Microsoft E1 provides basic email, file sharing, and storage while Microsoft E3 offers a complete set of business capabilities, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and additional security features.
