    Questions?

    Contact [email protected]

Does your church have an email address?

For many reasons (credibility, security, and accountability), we recommend a branded one. Visit  https://sydney.adventist.org.au/resources/church-email-address/.

    Security – Secure your site!

Your website needs to be secure! Ensure that the church’s branded email is used when setting up a website  3rd party domain and hosting so that your church can access accounts and maintain payments, if any. See the section above to have an adventist.org.au email created if you do not have one.

For ways to prevent your church’s website from being lost or hacked, contact the IT Department at [email protected].

    Frequently Asked Questions

Does my church have a website? How do I find out?

Because churches are responsible for their own website site, and because those websites are not always a template initially set up by the Division or General Conference (the old Net Adventist sites), we can not say. The sites we know of are listed in the conference directory at https://sydney.adventist.org.au/locations/.

To find out if your church has a site:

    1. Head to Google
    2. Type in your church name and “website”.
    3. If your church has a website, it’ll likely be listed somewhere on the first result page. Check the second page to be sure. If you cannot find one, your church likely does not have a website.aede [email protected]

    What is Adventist Place?

What does an Adventist Place website look like? What does the Adventist Place admin area look like? Who can sign up? What if my church already has a web presence? What does it cost? How do I get started? Got more questions?

For answers to these questions on Adventist Place sites, visit www.adventist.place/faq.

Someone at my church created an Adventist Place site and I can't get into it. How do I gain access?

Contact Adventist Place at https://support.adventist.place/category/121-contact-us. The Conference Communications Department does not have access to the back on of these sites.

Someone at my church created a custom (non-Adventist Place) site and I can't get into it. Can you help?

Unfortunately, we cannot help with this. You will need to contact the individual who contracted/developer who created the site and/or the domain and hosting provided. There is no way for us access this information.

For churches opting for this route, we HIGHLY recommend have a protocol in place that ensures multiple trusted individuals have access to the site and to it’s domain and hosting account. Once domain and hosting lapse, it can be difficult and expensive to impossible to get that domain back.

I need help with my Adventist place website. Where do I find it?

Support documentation can be found at https://support.adventist.place. If not, contact Adventist Place.

There is outdated contact information on my page that needs changing. How do we do that?

Support documentation can be found at https://support.adventist.place. If not, contact Adventist Place.

How do I connect a Domain name?

Click here to connect a domain name.

We would like to have custom-built website. Can the Conference build it for us?

Due to limited capacity, Greater Sydney Conference does not provide custom built websites. You will need to hire a professional or company that can build a custom website for you.

We can, however, provide some guidance on your website built. SEO should not be an afterthought. A good website build begins with a wireframe. Get in touch!

Where do we find branding resources for the site?

SPD Branding guidelines and assets can be found here.

You can find free, hi-resolution stock image online at https://unsplash.com/. Keep in mind size restrictions. Most websites will restrict the file size of content uploads to 1mb.
