The Greater Sydney Conference (GSC) Youth Department says goodbye to one beloved pastor and hello to another, as Pastor Moses Depaz moves on to a new chapter and Pastor Stanley Stuski steps into the role of Associate Youth Director.

Pr Moses Depaz
Pr Moses accepted a position as a field pastor in the Victoria Conference to be closer to family and now ministers at Melbourne City Adventist Church. He officially wrapped up his time with Sydney’s youth at the end of January 2026, following summer camps.
“Serving within the Greater Sydney Conference Youth Ministries under the leadership of Pr Simon and Pr Dejan has been a great experience of my ministry journey,” shared Pr Moses. “This season has shaped me not only as a pastor, but as a person, and I am deeply thankful for the opportunity to walk alongside so many incredible young people, families, and leaders across this conference.”
While he’s excited about his new role, Pr Moses acknowledges he’ll miss the friendships he formed and those he ministered with and to. “The collective commitment to nurturing faith in the next generation have left a lasting imprint on me,” he said.
The GSC Youth Department is grateful for the time Pr Moses served as part of their team. “Moses has been powerhouse in ministry—hardworking, humble, faithful and always ready to point people to Jesus. He will be deeply missed, but we know God has amazing plans for you as you move to the Victorian Conference and join a local church community.”
Pr Moses leaves with a word of encouragement for everyone serving in youth ministry, anchored in Philippians 1:6: “Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Pr Stanley Stuski, his wife Kristin and sons Jesse & Ethan
Now, Pastor Stanley Stuski is stepping into the youth department. He brings a wealth of local church experience across Sydney, including pastoral roles at Stanmore, Parramatta and Mile End. Born in New Zealand of Cook Islands heritage, Pr Stanley found his way into church life through music. He met his wife, Kristin, at Hoxton Park Church, and the two have been doing ministry together ever since. They have two boys, Jesse and Ethan.
“My passion is to see people discover and thrive in their God-given gifts, to fall in love with God, and to experience the hope found in Jesus,” he shared.
Youth Department leaders are excited to see the impact Pr Stanley will have on the conference. “We are blessed to have Pr Stanley with us following his service in local church ministry,” they said. “With experience supporting and leading active youth groups, he brings both a kind heart and a deep dedication to ministry—qualities that were evident even before he joined the Youth Department. His leadership encourages young people to grow in faith and purpose. We look forward to the impact his passion and experience will continue to have on our ministry.”
Please keep the Youth Department team in your prayers as they continue pointing young people to Jesus.
