More than 300 students gathered for a high school worship night hosted at Mountain View Adventist College in Doonside (NSW) on November 14. The event brought together young people from the four Adventist high schools in Sydney.
Mountain View coordinated the evening program, which featured student-led music and a message from guest speaker and former student Jahnneric Sulu-Afele. The worship night is part of an ongoing collaboration between school chaplains and the Greater Sydney Conference Youth Department to strengthen spiritual connection and fellowship among high school-aged students.
According to a local church youth leader who attended the event, the initiative is creating meaningful opportunities for young people to grow in faith together. “These Worship Nights are truly special. Young people come not only from our Adventist schools but also from local churches across Sydney, and many attend simply because they were invited by their Adventist friends. For some, this was even their first experience of Adventism, which made the night even more meaningful.”
The next high school worship night is scheduled to be held at Wahroonga Adventist School on March 27, 2026.
