Escape city life and explore more of the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.

Castlereagh Conference Centre is a beautiful venue located at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Our historic venue has meeting and dining space together with modern cabin accommodation for a variety of small groups.

Itinerary

Friday: Arrival and registration at the centre from 4pm Friday, November 10. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm followed by a presentation by Pr Daron Pratt.

Saturday: We’re planning a program with guest speakers, discussion groups, afternoon walk. Sabbath evening will be a variety night.

Sunday: Choose from the following activities.

Lunch cruise on the Nepean Belle: 2.5 hours – 3 course meal . They will substitute arancini balls instead of chicken for those who order vegetarian. They can also cater for gluten free, etc. Cost: $77 adult, $69 concession www.nepeanbelle.com.au
Walk by the river at Tench Reserve and lunch at The East Bank precinct. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from to suit varied taste or budget: https://theeastbank.com.au.
IFLY Penrith – Indoor skydiving. Cost: $90pp for a group of 5 or more. https://ifly.com.au/locations/sydney
Penrith Whitewater Stadium – Whitewater rafting $160pp for a group of 4 or more. https://www.sport.nsw.gov.au/penrithwhitewater

Event Deal

We’re offering a $20 discount for first-timers! Simply mention “first-timer” when you register. If you’re regular attendee bringing someone new, the deal applies to them too!

Cost

$185 (twin-share) or $197 (single room) per person. Includes:

Accommodation
Use of facilities
3 meals: Friday night dinner, Sabbath lunch and Sat night dinner.

BYO breakfast for Sabbath and Sunday or organise with others in your cabin to prepare and eat together as a group.

If you are unable to stay for the whole weekend and wish to come just for Sabbath the cost is $50. This includes the regular fee charged by the centre for day visitors plus 2 meals (lunch and dinner).

Accommodation | Each cabin has:

4 bedrooms with 2 single beds per room (no bunk beds),
2 bathrooms and
a kitchenette/dining area with table and chairs, microwave, small fridge, crockery, cutlery, toaster and kettle (no cooktop or oven).

All bedding, sheets and towels are provided. Share a room with just one other person.

What to pack

Casual clothes, walking shoes, Bible, breakfast x 2, personal effects, and toiletries.
