A week of reflection on God’s calling for us and prayer. Adventist World.
Prayer is spiritual communication between us God. It is our direct line with heaven. We pray to talk to God, understand him, connect with him, understand ourselves, and understand what’s happening around us.
The theme for this Week of Prayer is “I Will Go and Share God’s Word.” In these readings you will be inspired as you consider what role the Bible has in the life of the church, bringing a message of joy and hope. The Bible is unique—it is a power for salvation, and nourishment for our lives. Most important, the Bible is a revelation of Jesus Christ. Rounding out the week is an important call to give the final proclamation of the gospel during these times of global turmoil.
The daily prayer will be held 7-13 September (AEST)

Anyone who wants to participate.
Whether you’re new to faith or a life-long learner, you’ll be able to follow along and gain something to strengthen your walk. Participate alone, with family, or with friends. It’s completely up to you!
Read the daily devotions, consider the questions, and pray. That’s it.
We encourage keeping a journal or note pad to keep track of your thoughts and prayers as you journey through the exercise.
We also want people to pray for us as a church that in this troubling time we will truly love each other and be known as a people who care for everyone affected (not just ourselves) and live and present love and hope as we have it in Jesus.
