Summer camps are an inclusive experience. Campers gain useful skills to take with them for life, they socialize with peers from a variety of backgrounds and participate in activities outside of their comfort zones.
As a Christian organisation, our camps have a spiritual emphasis to them. We teach and encourage campers to be engaged leaders who serve others as Jesus did, to be positive contributors to their communities and spheres of influence, and to connect with God.
All sessions offer age-appropriate activities that may include:
At Sydney Adventist Youth Camps, campers on-site stay in cabins with youth of the same gender and age group. In accordance with Greater Sydney Conference Work, Health & Safety policy, each cabin is assigned two counselors who provide supervision and safety. All counselors are required to have pre-camp training and valid Working With Children Checks.
