03 August 2025 – Youth leaders from Mount Druitt Samoan Church and West Sydney Youth organized a clothing distribution event and conducted a street clean-up, promoting kindness and enhancing the community’s well-being. Approximately 30 local residents benefited from the clothing provided, underscoring the immediate needs that exist in our neighborhoods. Their initiative showcased the strength of collaboration and the significance of helping others.
We are thrilled to announce that on March 15, 2025, we will observe Global Youth Day with the theme “ACT: Community Transformed!” On this day, around 5 million young individuals worldwide will venture beyond church confines to embody the hands and feet of Jesus. We encourage all churches to save this date and begin preparations for their youth to engage in community service. Possible activities include distributing food, cleaning up neglected areas, visiting senior homes for performances, and assisting those experiencing homelessness. Let’s unite to make a substantial difference and express Christ’s love through our deeds.
