Adventurer Big Day is a special celebration dedicated to little people with big hearts—and to the incredible Adventurer staff, mums, dads, uncles, aunties, guardians, and grandparents who work so hard to support one of the most important ministries in the Adventist Church.
Every two years, we’re blessed to gather all our Adventurer clubs for a day of unity, worship, learning, and fun as part of our Greater Sydney family. On the 6th of April, around 30 clubs came together at Mountain View Adventist College for an unforgettable day. The event began with the Adventurer Parade and the presentation of flags, followed by a worship led by Pastor Alexis.
A special new feature that added excitement to the program was the introduction of a drum corps, composed of our Pathfinders, which led the parade and brought a vibrant rhythm to the day—an inspiring collaboration across ministries within our Church.
Throughout the event, children enjoyed fun activities and engaging storytelling. Families and guests also had the chance to grab a bite from the many Adventurer Club food stalls. These featured a variety of mouthwatering cuisines—from African dishes to tasty islander treats, crispy fried potatoes, and much more—all prepared with love. These stalls weren’t just about food—they were also fundraising to support local clubs, with every dollar going back into ministry for our children.
There is no better investment than in the hearts and futures of our children. So here’s a heartfelt invitation: let’s rally together—parents, leaders, friends, and church families—to support this vibrant ministry. Give your time. Cover them in prayer. Share your skills, your presence, and yes, even your resources.
