Expressions of Interest are sought for people interested in serving ADRA Australia as volunteer Board members (ACNC “Responsible Persons”) to fill vacancies occurring through to the end of 2025 and possibly for a further five-year term. Four day-long board meetings are held annually with three meetings in Sydney, a fourth in Melbourne. Availability for Board sub-committees may also be requested. Approved out of pocket travel and accommodation expenses are paid or reimbursed by ADRA Australia.
The Board strives to ensure a diverse range of professional backgrounds and experience and is committed to gender balance. Currently we are seeking candidates who are members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church from different age groups, and from areas of expertise including Fund-raising, International Development, First Nations Community Development, and People & Culture.
