What is the age range for SDA youth?
The Seventh-day Adventist Youth Ministry Department serves youth through three levels. They are Junior Youth (Adventurers: ages 4-9 and Pathfinders: ages 10-15), Senior Youth (Ambassadors: ages 16-21 and Young Adults: ages 22-30+), and Uni Students: ages 16-30+.

Adventurers is a fun club for children aged 4–9. The program provides a fun environment in which children and parents can participate in building life-long memories. The curriculum includes age appropriate activities ranging from games, outdoor activities, exploring nature, camping, religious instruction and service opportunities.

Pathfinders is an activity-based program designed for 10-15 year olds, and has been adopted by local Seventh-day Adventist Churches worldwide. The program provides an opportunity for kids and teenagers to develop a healthy sense of self in a fun, safe and caring environment. Attendees learn how to lead and work as a team, get outdoors by going camping and studying nature, develop practical life skills, serve community needs, learn what constitutes a healthy lifestyle and make lifelong friendships, all while learning important Christian values.

Summer Camp happens every year in the month of January and is held at Crosslands Youth & Convention Centre. It’s a time where Juniors and Teens can make friends, engage in various activities ranging from canoeing to high ropes and crafts, socialise, listen to engaging speakers and connect with God.

Adventist Outdoors is a volunteer organisation sponsored by the Seventh-day Adventist Church. The leadership are nationally qualified in bushwalking, abseiling, flat water canoeing, mountain biking, canyoning and other outdoor skills. Adventist Outdoors gets involved in supporting Pathfinders in map & compass and the Pathfinder Expedition. They are committed to providing safe outdoor adventure activities and developing activity skills. See below for upcoming events.
The Greater Sydney Adventist Ski Ministry is a service whereby Pathfinder, Youth and Church groups can experience God’s nature behind the back of a Wakeboard Boat and Jet Ski. It offers fun, laughter, creativity and adrenalin pumping action that will thrill you and your friends in a Christian environment. This ministry is run by volunteers who have a passion to see young people enjoy themselves, grow personally and learn something about God and His nature.
