Singles Castlereagh Weekend Retreat

Escape city life and explore more of the natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.

Castlereagh Conference Centre is a beautiful venue located at the foot of the Blue Mountains. Our historic venue has meeting and dining space together with modern cabin accommodation for a variety of small groups.

We are thrilled to announce that Roger and Denise Vince, our special guest speakers, will be leading a variety of interactive sessions over the weekend. These engaging workshops and group discussions will focus on the theme of Community, offering a fresh perspective different from traditional lectures or sermons. With their extensive background in ministry, Roger and Denise have a strong passion for Singles Ministry, which actually played a pivotal role in their own relationship journey. Be prepared to hear more about their inspiring story firsthand during the upcoming weekend!

Itinerary

Friday: Arrival and registration at the centre from 4pm Friday, October 11. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm followed by a presentation by Pr Roger and Denise Vince.

Saturday: Two sessions + time to socialise and mingle. Sabbath evening will be a variety night. You can participate by,

• Sharing your musical ability
• Sharing your humour with a story or some good (clean) jokes
• Acting or a skit
• Sharing your culture or a recent trip (Bring slides on a USB stick!)
• Showcase your creative endeavours or talent
• Hosting a short game or activity (e.g. a Minute-to-Win-It type game)
• Demonstrating a hobby, interest or skill

Sunday: After the final presentation we will head to Windsor.

• Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler morning tea cruise at 9:30am. $30 adult or $20 for seniors. There are gluten free and dairy free options available for morning tea. For more information go to www.facebook.com/Hawkesburypaddlewheeler
  • This is a family-run business who have not had much luck lately with flood damage, etc. We are happy to support this business.
• Windsor markets (held each Sunday from 9am till 3pm) following tea.
