Join us for an informative and practical afternoon designed to support individuals, families, and churches in understanding hearing loss and discovering helpful technology solutions for the church setting.
Seminar 1 – Hearing Loss and Church Life
Discover how communication works within relationships and explore the ways hearing loss can affect connection, participation, and belonging in both family and church life.
Seminar 2 – Assistive Listening for Churches: New Technology Demonstrations
Take part in a hands-on workshop exploring the limits of hearing aid performance in social and church settings, with demonstrations of the latest assistive listening technology to help churches better support people with hearing challenges.
You’ll also learn about assistive listening equipment trials and subsidies available to churches through Adventist Media’s Christian Vision & Hearing Services.
Our main presenter is Graham Weir, member of the General Conference Adventist Possibility Ministries Taskforce for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Light refreshments will be served between seminars.
