Each week we will be sharing an update on the various departments within our Conference. This week we will hear from Pr Dejan, GSC Youth Director.
We organise over 30 events annually, each designed to engage young people, their friends, and often their families, supporting both youth and local churches.
As we approach Harvest 2025, we recognise the crucial role youth ministry plays in church growth, especially since most of our baptisms are among those under the age of 18.
By investing in our youth and their leaders, we anticipate positive changes within the church. To support this, we have re-established four youth areas (Central, South, North, and West) to foster closer collaboration among churches and active involvement in the church’s mission.
In these areas, youth leaders and pastoral leaders are working together to make youth ministry central to our spiritual and church growth.
Our Adventurer and Pathfinder Clubs are dedicated to serving as year-round evangelistic programs. From our many experiences, we can testify that they can be evangelistic campaigns running throughout the year.
However, this is only possible when we come together as a church to support a ministry that is wholly focused on the spiritual and physical development of Pathfinders and Adventurers.
As part of the conference’s strategic plan to increase spiritual temperature, we are launching our first Pathfinder Bible Experience.
We are confident that studying Romans and 1 Corinthians will be a blessing to our congregations and help our young people engage more closely with the Word of God. If you would like to start a local club or join the Pathfinder Bible Experience, please do not hesitate to reach out.
We warmly invite you to join us through various programs and ministries such as Uni and Youth Worship nights, High School worship nights, Big Camps, Global Youth Day, Pathfinder and Adventurer Day, youth rallies, mission projects, StormCo, Camporees and more.
We are continually seeking ways to better support and connect with our local churches. To help us achieve this, we need to gather some valuable insights from you. If you could take a few moments to complete this survey, we would greatly appreciate it. Your feedback is invaluable to us.
Together, we can make a significant difference. Our Youth Ministries Department is always ready to partner with you in God’s vineyard.
A devotional thought…
Psalms 68:4-5: “Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the LORD. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.”
Praise was never meant to be used only after a victory. Instead, it is intended to propel you into victory through Jesus. Praise is the sound and prayer that moves heaven to act on your behalf. It activates heavenly forces and is the reason Jericho fell and why our future is in God’s safe hands.
I don’t know what you are going through or what challenges you are facing, just as you may not know the battles I am fighting. But I do know that my heart and soul will continue to praise the Lord, the God of this universe. I hope and pray that you too will take a moment to praise Him, despite your circumstances.
