Diabetes Awareness & Lifestyle Medicine Brunch (Free)

    41 Doonside Road

Diabetes remission is possible. Discover Hope. Learn Strategies. Take Action.

Research shows that people with Type 2 Diabetes can achieve remission—meaning their blood sugar levels return (HbA1c below 6.5%) to a non-diabetic range without the need for diabetes medications for at least 3 months after stopping glucose-lowering medications — through sustained lifestyle changes (die, exercise, weight loss). This doesn’t mean a cure, but it is a powerful new chapter of health and freedom from daily management stress.

Lifestyle approaches—particularly whole-food, plant-based diets combined with physical activity and behavioural support—have been shown to be effective in helping many people reach and maintain remission.

Diabetes Remission is now recognised by leading health organisations, including:

    • Diabetes Australia
    • Diabetes UK
    • American Diabetes Association (ADA)

You’re not powerless. Through the principles of Lifestyle Medicine, you can take control of your health and transform your future.
