GSC Door Knocking | The Meet Your Neighbours Initiative

    28 June 2025

Knock. Connect. Thrive. Get outside and meet your community.

Take part in this unique opportunity to transform your neighborhood into a vibrant community by joining Greater Sydney’s Conferences’ door knocking initiative. With every door you knock on, you’re not just meeting neighbors; you’re building connections that can last a lifetime.

    What are to do?

    1. Get out into your local community and church neighbourhood and meet your neighbours. Say hello, introduce yourself, let them know what the church has going on and what services you have to provide. Ask what you can do to be of further service to them.
    2. Visit someone from church who you haven’t seen in a while. Take some flowers or a pie. Let them know that they matter and that they’ve been missed.

Whichever you choose, what matters is that you get out and make those in-person connections.

    Should we give out literature?

Yes. If your church has literature to give out, DO! If your church does not have anything to distribute, check out the column of  what’s available and submit a order using the embedded form (to come).

If you don’t want to give out literature, that’s okay too. Contact info or a local church calendar will work to. Again, whichever you choose, what matters is that you get out and make those in-person connections.

    Why should I take part?

Every day is an opportunity for you to make someone’s day, but this is a special opportunity to be a part of a counterculture movement to reignite personal connections and social accountability in an ever increasingly lonely world. A chance to be the difference. You never know the impact a simple face-to-face interaction will have.

    Join us outside.
