Mamarapha College celebrated its 2024 graduation on November 16, recognising the achievements of 18 students under the theme “More Than Enough.” The event marked a year of record attendance at the college and highlighted the students’ hard work and commitment.

Among the graduates were GSC's own Henry Dunn (The Way Redfern, who completed an Advanced Diploma in Pastoral Ministry. Congratulations, Henry and fellow graduates! 🎓 #sydneyadventists

The Greater Sydney Conference (GSC) proudly announces that Pr. Eden Ashcroft, our esteemed Young Adult Coordinator, has accepted the call to serve as the Youth Director at the Western Australian Conference (WAC). This appointment marks a new chapter in youth ministry leadership in Western Australia.

Pr. Ashcroft's tenure in Sydney has been marked by dynamic leadership, successfully contributing to the increase in youth participation and fostering spiritual growth among young adults.

"Eden has been a great team member in the GSC Youth Department. Her engagement with the Adventurers through to the University Student ministries has had impact and value. Our ministries will miss her and her contribution.”

On November 22nd, we reached an important mileston

On November 22nd, we reached an important milestone in the Greater Sydney Conference and possibly all of Australia. We hosted the first regional test for the Pathfinder Bible Experience, starting something special in our ministry.

The Pathfinder Bible Experience may seem new, but it is based on the Adventist Church's long tradition of valuing Bible study. This program aims to reignite interest in God's Word among our youth.

As part of the Greater Sydney Conference's strategy, we aim to increase spiritual engagement in our church. The youth department, @sydneyadventistyouth, sees the Pathfinder Bible Experience as a great way to achieve this.

Pathfinder clubs in our region formed teams of six teens, appointed a coach, chose a team name, and began an intensive Bible study. For the 2024-2025 cycle, we focused on Romans and 1 Corinthians. We were very proud of our first five teams, including one that joined virtually from Tasmania, as they all did exceptionally well.
