The Sydney Portuguese Adventist Church in Ashfield

The Sydney Portuguese Adventist Church in Ashfield was filled with excitement as it hosted its first-ever Kids MasterChef event and they have plans to run more.

Organised by the local church’s Health Department, the event emphasised the importance of healthy eating, with all the dishes prepared being health-approved. The children were divided into teams and given the challenge to create nutritious and delicious dishes that would impress a panel of judges.

The event was a wonderful opportunity for the children to bond, express their creativity, and gain confidence in the kitchen. It also brought the local community together, celebrating the talents of its youngest church members and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Everyone left with a tummy full of deliciousness!
