The Epping ABC has a (temporary) new home! Come see us at 1A/1 Colyton Road, Minchinbury, NSW.
The grand opening for the new Adventist Book Centre (ABC) location was 14th June at 9am AEST. Pastor Alban Matohiti, Greater Sydney Conference President, welcomed attendees and read Genesis 22:14, emphasising that the Lord is our provider. Pastor Andre Vieira, GSC Ministerial Secretary, offered a prayer and dedication of the new bookstore, and Michael Pupovac, ABC Supervisor, led a tour of the facility for in-person and online guests, including local pastors, church members, and staff.
The ABC will stay in Minchinbury until the building project at the previous site, 4 Cambridge Street, Epping, is completed by 2025. Until then, there’s excitement about the new, temporary location. “Some will be sorry to see us leave Epping but for others the move to Minchinbury will mean less travel time to visit the ABC,” says Mr. Pupovac. “Many customers live in the Blacktown-to-Penrith corridor, and we will be closer to a significant portion of our customer base. For them, it will be nice to have an Adventist Book Centre a little closer to home.”
Having a location in an area where there’s never before been an ABC will also widen its reach in the community. Mr. Pupovac shares, “Being located on the corner of a busy highway, the new store will have more exposure and will hopefully entice locals to come and check us out.”
