A week of reflection on God’s calling for us and prayer.
Some 2,000 years ago Jesus gave the invitation “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men” (Matt. 4:19) to a small group of fishermen on the shores of Galilee. They “immediately . . . left the boat and . . . followed Him” (verse 22). As they spent time with Jesus, their lives were transformed forever.
Today Jesus still calls people to be His disciples. Being a disciple begins by following Jesus—spending time with Him through Bible study and prayer, following where He leads.
This year Christian Services for the Blind & Hearing Impaired have provided audio recording of the readings for the Week of Prayer.
We hope this will be of assistance and a blessing to those who are blind, have vision impairment or a physical condition that prohibits them using the printed material. Access the podcasts at https://csfbhi.adventistchurch.com/podcasts/.

Prayer is spiritual communication between us God. It is our direct line with heaven. We pray to talk to God, understand him, connect with him, understand ourselves, and understand what’s happening around us.
Anyone who wants to participate.
Whether you’re new to faith or a life-long learner, you’ll be able to follow along and gain something to strengthen your walk. Participate alone, with family, or with friends. It’s completely up to you!
Read the daily devotions, consider the questions, and pray. That’s it.
We encourage keeping a journal or note pad to keep track of your thoughts and prayers as you journey through the exercise.
We also want people to pray for us as a church that in this troubling time we will truly love each other and be known as a people who care for everyone affected (not just ourselves) and live and present love and hope as we have it in Jesus.
